Day 2

We started our day early to meet our snorkeling tour at the pier. While waiting for our speedboat to pick us up, we saw pelicans, frigatebirds, a ray, sea lions, puffer fish, and a baby reef shark from the pier. Snorkeling at Santa Fe Island, we swam with sea lions and sea turtles, as well as many schools of fish (salema fish, parrot fish, King angel fish, and puffer fish). On our ride to enjoy Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach, on Santa Cruz Island), we were graced by a pod of about 100 dolphins. Playa Escondida had the softest white sand beach where we saw more wildlife (frigatebirds, marine iguanas, bright red crabs, and lizards).
